VOLUNTEERING

Volunteers are the heart of CORA's operations. Last year volunteers contributed more than 3,700 hours. As the number of hungry families grows, so does our need for more volunteers. Close to 200 women and men are currently involved in nearly every aspect of CORA's operations. Volunteers participate in many ways including serving families, picking up and delivering food, checking in food donations, sorting groceries and stocking shelves, and sometimes helping with administrative work. We greatly appreciate people with larger capacity vehicles who can help with transport of food drive collections or groceries from the Durham Food Bank or local providers.

If you would like to join our volunteer corps, please call or email us. We'll connect you with our volunteer liaison who will arrange a tour, explain how things work and help you get started. People make CORA what it is, and we can never have too many helping hands.
