Cambridge Hills Hosts Monthly Food Drive

Posted on: May 18, 2022

Cambridge Hills has recently begun holding monthly food drives for CORA through their Neighbors Helping Neighbors program. Each month they share CORA’s most needed items list with residents and their families and collect and deliver donations monthly to the pantry. Food Drives like this one help CORA keep its shelves full during these times of unprecedented need. They are also a great way to introduce the community to CORA’s mission. Some of the families involved were not familiar with CORA, so it was an educational opportunity for all involved. “Cambridge Hills believes that our community goes beyond our doors into the neighborhoods of Chatham County. Our Neighbors Helping Neighbors program is just one way that we can give back and help others in need, “ shared Community Relations Director Angela de Muinck.

The true strength of our community lies in our ability to come together and care for each other, especially in times of need and uncertainty. At CORA, we are in awe of this community’s unwavering dedication to providing compassionate care for others. We are so fortunate to have partnerships across Chatham County to ensure that all families facing food insecurity do not go hungry.
