SNACK! Food Drive – May 2022

Past multi-day event from May 01, 2022 to May 31, 2022.

Summer is often the hungriest time of year for families with children. Over 4,600 children in our community who rely upon free or low-cost meals at school may go hungry. With your support, CORA can provide food to replace these meals. Will you help us feed these children this summer?

SNACK! is CORA’s summer feeding program that distributes free groceries to children and their families at sites across Chatham County. We provide enough food for 21 meals each week for every child enrolled in this program. The food options include fresh produce, milk, and nutrient-dense shelf-stable staples. Last summer, we served 1,100 children nearly 250,000 meals.

 Here is a list of participating businesses collecting food for CORA! Also, you can purchase food online and have it directly sent to us; just click HERE.
