This year has had its share of successes, but it has also brought many challenges. Many people in Chatham County are struggling with economic instability, as well as the rising cost of living and hunger. Unfortunately, the number of requests for assistance is still higher than the rate at which we are receiving donations of food and funding.
As you consider your end‐of‐year gifts, I hope you will make a tax-deductible donation to CORA. Your gift will make a real difference for children, families, and seniors in our community who are facing hardships and experiencing hunger. Please give now to help us continue our work of building a community without hunger.
CORA is a nonprofit organization that relies on the generosity of the community to provide food to those facing hunger in our community.
WAYS TO GIVE
Financial – Make a gift to CORA! More than 11% of those living in Chatham County are food insecure, meaning they aren’t sure where their next meal will come from. Your gift will make a significant impact on your neighbors in need.
Food – Here are items that we always need at the pantry.
Volunteer- We would not be able to fulfill our mission without the time and dedication of our extraordinary volunteers! CORA’s volunteer opportunities include sorting food, stocking shelves, and helping families.

Spread the Word – Use your voice for good! Invite a friend to volunteer with you, organize a food drive with your coworkers, or simply forward this email to a family member. Ending hunger starts with you!
