The CORA Food Pantry provides emergency food assistance to Chatham
County residents in need. We provide a vital link in the safety network
of health and human services agencies and churches throughout our county.
Our organization was founded in 1989 as the Chatham OutReach Alliance, Inc.
(CORA) with the sole mission of providing emergency food to those in need of
help to feed themselves and their families. CORA is a 501(c)(3) designated
organization. (EIN: 56-1668767) Our long-standing approach is to provide short
term emergency food, not permanent assistance. Clients must be referred to us
by one of Chatham County's social service agencies or churches.
