CORA (Chatham OutReach Alliance) an all-volunteer, non-profit
organization founded for the sole purpose of helping to feed
Chatham County residents who have a temporary need for
community support to keep themselves and their families fed.
CORA has virtually no over-head. 85-90% of the funds acquired by CORA
are used directly to purchase food for distribution to those who need it.
CORA is governed by an 8 to 12 member Board of Directors, appointed
annually. Within the Board there is a 5 member Executive Committee,
consisting of the President,Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and
the Coordinator of Volunteers. |
