CORA does not sell, exchange or rent names or other personal information about our donors, website users, or eNews subscribers.

CORA does not use telephone marketing to solicit funds.

Chatham Outreach Alliance may use your personally identifiable information to: a) respond to your questions or comments about CORA; b) fulfill requests to volunteer or conduct a food drive; c) process your donation and send you a receipt; d) send you information about CORA’s programs, services, and needs that we believe will interest you; e) protect the security or integrity of the site; f) protect against a threat of safety or destruction of property; and g) protect against legal liability. CORA may offer public recognition of donors; any donor may request public anonymity when making a donation or by contacting peggy@corafoodpantry.org.

When you visit CORA’s website, we collect some non-identifying basic information from server logs. This includes total number of visitors, pages viewed, type of browser you are using, type of operating system you are using, domain name of your internet service provider, IP address and frequently used search words. We use this non-identifying basic information (aggregate data) internally to analyze site usage and to improve the content and design of the site.

Chatham Outreach Alliance may disclose aggregate data (e.g., total number of donors, total donations for specific periods, average gift size, total number of volunteers for specific projects, or events) in external communications. Personal information is not sold, traded, or shared beyond internal use.

CORA requires employees, agents and contractors who have access to personal information to protect information consistent with this Privacy Policy. Financial transactions processed on the internet or over the phone with CORA are secured in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS), including credit card processing and token exchange. CORA’s donor pages are hosted by a third party, Qgive.com, that is also in accordance with PCI-DSS for its financial processing.

If you prefer not to receive mail or e-mail from us, please send a request with your full name, address, phone number and e-mail address to rebecca@corafoodpantry.org or call 919-491-5896.

The security measures we take may not prevent all loss, misuse or alteration of information on the site. CORA is not responsible for any damages or liabilities relating to such security failures. It is understood that unauthorized third parties may access data and communications, including e-mail, when communicated via the internet. Although CORA’s website includes links to other websites, we cannot ensure the privacy practices of those sites.
