Every day, we serve residents in need of food within our community through our food pantry and a network of alliances, programs, and events. We provide our most vulnerable neighbors, many of whom don’t know where their next meal will come from, with an abundance of healthy food. These days, as the lines grow longer, we need to find better and more efficient ways to keep up with the needs of those struggling to put food on the table. Thanks to the fantastic support of our entire community, we now have a new refrigerated truck to help us pick up food from the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, rescue surplus food from grocery stores, pick up donations from PORCH, collect food from food drives, and distribute food through our Mobile Market and other activities. Thanks to the entire community for your generous and steadfast support as we work together to build a community without hunger!
