Join CORA in building a community without hunger by participating in our CORA Hunger Heroes food drive! During the month of August, we will be partnering with local businesses and community groups to collect food for the pantry. CORA serves a diverse community; families, students, and the elderly many of whom thought they would never have to seek food assistance. Your support is essential and will strengthen our ability to ensure that our most vulnerable neighbors get the food they need.
MOST NEEDED ITEMS (Please donate the requested items as they truly are our most needed and most popular items.)
HOW TO HELP
Join Us at Food Lion on August 28th! – Join CORA in building a community without hunger by participating in our Hunger Heroes food drive! We will be at the Food Lion on Governors Drive collecting our most needed items on Saturday, August 28th between 9 am – 3 pm.
Give at a Store or a Business – You can make a food donation at local grocery stores and businesses. Please donate household and nonperishable food items in boxes, cans or plastic containers. We will soon have a list of participating businesses! If you are a business interested in collecting, please contact Rebecca Hankins at rebecca@corafoodpantry.org to get a food drive bin.
Donate at CORA – You can make food donations directly at CORA. We are located at 40 Camp Drive in Pittsboro and we are open for donations Monday through Friday between 9 am – 3 pm.
Volunteer – You can help make this drive a success and provide literally tons of food to your neighbors in need. We are in need of volunteers to collect food each week from local grocery stores and businesses. Please email Rebecca Hankins at rebecca@corafoodpantry.org to lend a helping hand.
