CORA’s 10th Empty Bowls charitable fundraiser will be held on Sunday, February 9th at Galloway Ridge at Fearrington Village in Pittsboro from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. This year we will have two seatings and tickets are now on sale. The concept is simple: guests choose a handmade bowl, enjoy delicious soup from local restaurants, home-baked breads, and desserts. The bowl then serves as a reminder that someone’s bowl is always empty and that we need to continue our efforts to end hunger in Chatham County. 100% of the proceeds go to helping neighbors in need and building a community without hunger!
Artists of all ages, skill levels and mediums will donate hundreds of handmade bowls. Please note there will be other mediums than just pottery, including glass and wood. Dinner and bowls will be available for purchase at various levels.
