We are so excited to share our vision for CORA in 2022 and beyond. This year we will complete our new building adjacent to the existing pantry.
The new 2,800 square foot building will serve as both a food storage warehouse and pantry and will allow us to streamline operations and provide food to those facing hunger more effectively. The relocation of the pantry will also enable CORA to repurpose our current space to include meeting, educational, and food preparation space, all of which will better serve the community.
Although CORA is getting a new building that will serve as both a warehouse and pantry, the organization will need to repurpose our existing building to better serve those facing food insecurity and poverty in our community. Each year we serve over 11,000 individuals in Chatham County. CORA is committed to serving nutritious food in a welcoming community space that brings people together to grow, cook, share, and advocate for healthy food.
