Food Drive Kick off Event At Mosiac in Chatham Park

Chatham Outreach Alliance (CORA) recently opened its new choice pantry in Chatham County. We are holding a “Fill the New Pantry” food drive in August and September to ensure our shelves are filled with food for the hundreds of families who visit each month. CORA’s pantry is set up like a grocery store, and community members choose the food that matches their preferences and needs. Nearly 20,000 individuals in Chatham County face food insecurity, meaning they lack regular access to the nutritious food they need.

We are kicking off the food drive in partnership with Mosaic at Chatham Park on August 11^th. Come on out and enjoy the music of Cravin’ Melon with special guest: Big Time Shine, bring food items to donate to neighbors in need, and relax on the large lawn! The concert starts at 7:00 pm.
