“Glitz, Glamour and Golf” Fundraiser for CORA

On a picturesque October day, we found ourselves on the golf courses at the Preserve at Jordan Lake, raising awareness and funds for the crucial work that CORA carries out across Chatham County. This year’s golf fundraiser drew 60 women from the region, all outfitted in “Glitz and Glamour.” The day featured hole contests, a silent auction, raffles, and a food drive.

The event raised $7,600 and contributed 350 pounds of food to support CORA’s mission to serve residents across Chatham County who are facing food insecurity. CORA is working towards building a community without hunger by collecting and purchasing healthy food for distribution through its food pantry, related programs, and network of local partners.
