Corporate & Community Support

Corporate Support

At CORA, we believe in the power of partnerships to create lasting change. Local businesses and organizations play a vital role in helping us build a community without hunger. By joining forces with CORA, your company can make a meaningful difference for children, families, and seniors across Chatham County while also demonstrating your commitment to social responsibility.

There are many ways your business can support CORA:

Grants
Corporate and foundation grants provide critical funding that helps sustain our programs and expand our reach. Your investment ensures that thousands of neighbors have consistent access to nutritious food.

Sponsorships
Sponsorship opportunities allow your company to align with CORA’s mission while gaining visibility in the community. From supporting events to program sponsorships, your partnership showcases your commitment to creating a healthier, stronger Chatham County.

Food Drives
Hosting a food drive is a hands-on way for employees and customers to make a meaningful contribution. Collecting healthy, shelf-stable items not only strengthens our food pantry but also builds a culture of giving and teamwork within your organization.

Volunteering
Group volunteer days are a meaningful way for your employees to engage directly with our mission. From packing food boxes to supporting community events, your team can experience firsthand the impact of their service.

Together, we can create a community where no one goes hungry. Partner with CORA today and help us nourish hope, dignity, and resilience across Chatham County. For more information, please contact us at [email protected].

Community Support

CORA thrives because of the generosity and creativity of our community. When individuals, local businesses, faith groups, civic clubs, and organizations come together, we are able to provide more nutritious food and strengthen the safety net for our neighbors. Every act of support, large or small, helps us build a community without hunger.

Here are some ways our community partners make a difference:

Volunteering
Volunteers are at the heart of CORA. Whether packing boxes, stocking shelves, or helping at special events, community members of all ages and backgrounds share their time and talents to keep our programs running strong.

Food Drives
Organizing a food drive is a powerful way for schools, faith groups, civic clubs, or neighborhoods to unite around a common cause. Collecting healthy, shelf stable foods ensures our pantry shelves are stocked year round.

Hygiene Bags

Hygiene items are essential for dignity and well being but are often too costly for families to purchase regularly. When available, CORA distributes more than 200 hygiene bags each week filled with items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, and shampoo.

Community Events and Fundraisers
From hosting neighborhood gatherings to organizing benefit concerts, festivals, or athletic events, community led fundraisers are a fun and meaningful way to raise awareness and support CORA’s mission.

Restaurant Donations
Local restaurants can play an important role in reducing food waste and hunger at the same time. By donating surplus prepared food, restaurants provide high quality meals while supporting sustainability in our community.

Retail Recovery Partnerships
Grocery stores, retailers, and local markets partner with CORA to recover food that is still safe and nutritious but might otherwise go unsold. These donations expand our variety of fresh and healthy offerings while preventing food from going to waste.

Other Creative Partnerships
We welcome new ideas for collaboration! From CSA shares to garden gleaning projects, innovative partnerships help us bring more fresh, local, and culturally relevant foods to the families we serve.

Together, our community can ensure that every neighbor has access to abundant, safe, and nutritious food. When we join forces, we do not just fill plates, we build hope, dignity, and resilience for all. For more information, please contact us at [email protected].
