Hosting an Event
Hosting an event is a wonderful way to bring people together while supporting CORA’s mission. Whether it is a neighborhood gathering, a themed dinner, a school fundraiser, or a community festival, events raise both awareness and critical support for our programs. By dedicating your celebration or activity to CORA, you help ensure that families in Chatham County have access to the nutritious food they need.
Dining for Dollars
Restaurants can make a meaningful impact in the fight against hunger by participating in CORA’s Dining for Dollars program. By designating a day or meal service where a portion of sales is donated to CORA, your business can directly support families and individuals in our community who are facing food insecurity.
Participation is simple and flexible. Restaurants choose the date and details that work best for them, promote the event to customers, and CORA provides guidance, materials, and recognition to highlight your generosity. It’s a win-win: you engage your customers, give back to the community, and help provide nutritious food to thousands of neighbors in need.
Join other local businesses in turning everyday meals into a powerful opportunity to fight hunger. Contact us to learn how your restaurant can get involved.
Request a Speaker
Would your group like to learn more about hunger in our community and the work CORA is doing to address it? Our staff and volunteers are available to speak at schools, businesses, faith groups, and civic organizations. Presentations can be tailored to your audience and provide valuable insights into food insecurity, the importance of community partnerships, and the many ways you can get involved.
