We would only be able to fulfill our mission with the time and dedication of our extraordinary volunteers. Each year, the pantry operation requires more than 9,000 hours of work contributed by our devoted volunteers.
Our goal is to provide interested groups and individuals with the best volunteer experience possible. We also strive to prepare our volunteers to become hunger advocates in our community. Fighting hunger does not always start with a meal. At CORA, it begins with those who selflessly offer their time and talent. CORA’s volunteer opportunities include stocking shelves, helping families shop, organizing food drives, and even helping with one of our exciting fundraising events. Whether you are an individual or part of a group or company, there are many customizable opportunities to volunteer, and we welcome you!
We have a minimum age requirement of 16 years old to volunteer here at CORA. We hold volunteer orientation to introduce individuals to our organization and to learn more about specific opportunities. Please contact Jessica at Jessica@corafoodpantry.org to schedule. At orientation, you will receive a tour of the pantry and learn about the work we do at CORA. You will also register with Volunteer Hub, our online volunteer scheduling and information system. Following orientation, you will be able to sign up for shifts that fit your schedule.
Please fill out the form and our staff will get back to you shortly!
